Wondering what to do in Carson Valley and Tahoe during the shoulder season. Too cool for the beaches, but the lifts aren’t open. Take a short 20 minute trip from the casinos at Stateline, NV and land at David Walley’s off of Foothill Road in Genoa. Or make it 30 minutes from Meyers to Markleeville where you’ll find Grover Hot Springs. The hot springs water is kept between 102 degrees and 104 degrees. Enjoy!
Where is Winter?

I just spent a few hours switching out my real estate signs for winter. Moving them from my listings front yard to the houses, or trees. Temperature is 60 degrees at Lake Tahoe. Where is winter? Some ski resorts have opened a few lifts, but the marjority need more snow. This weekend will be golf rather than skiing with a few open houses in the mix.

Carson Valley investment opportunities

Did you look at the investment opportunities out there in Carson Valley properties? I am showing one this afternoon that actually pencils out and could be a good location for rental. Sunridge is located conveniently for commuters and not far from all that Lake Tahoe has to offer. Many retirees are choosing this area for the weather, views and of course Nevada tax benefits.
